Twelve-year-old Amor, a Junior Master Scuba Diver who feels most at home in the water, has grown up diving to shipwrecks along the Treasure Coast of Florida. Treasures are the family business, and she is proud to be part of it. But business has been slow, and her family's scuba shop is in danger of going under.
That's when Amor finds Crabby, a small, talking crab with a big personality. He's cynical and straight-up difficult to deal with, but his mutations may be able to lead Amor to treasure.
But when a mysterious explosion destroys the family's ship and scuba equipment, the pressure is on to find treasure fast before they lose everything.
Amor, who’d rather tackle problems alone, reluctantly decides the only way to save her family's shop and home is to recruit a treasure-hunting team. She selects Jorden, the encouraging boy next door, her overbearing siblings, and Crabby of course.
Amor leads her mish-mash team, but her back-stabbing ex-best friend is searching for the treasure too. Plus, the mad scientist who mutated Crabby lurks at every turn.
When Amor's crew finally finds treasure, the villains converge, and the deranged head honcho reveals himself.
